The government of Assam has decided to launch the scheme for 'Online Registration of Vehicles, Payment of Fees, Taxes and Fines, etc. which will enable the citizen to make online payment of Vehicle Registration Fees and Road Tax through the two services:
This service enables the car dealer to initiate the vehicle registration process by entering all the vehicle and owner details and subsequenty making online payment of vehicle registration fees and taxes using net banking facility with State Bank of India.
The dealer's showroom, DTO, the bank and the cyber treasury have integrated systems linked from their respective offices.
